Ministry of Women and Child Development launches Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2026: Nationwide campaign focuses on dietary diversity, adequate protein intake and fresh hot cooked meals

Launched at the Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre in Varanasi, the 9th Poshan Maah runs from 9 September to 8 October 2026 under the theme “Hamari Anganwadi, Hamari Jimmedari”. According to the release, the Minister stated that more than 14 lakh Anganwadi Centres deliver services to over 7.5 crore children and 1.10 crore pregnant and lactating women.
